Julie Mehretu: A Transcore of the Radical Imaginatory

The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) presents the first exhibition of American artist Julie Mehretu to be shown in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region as part of the Sydney International Art Series 2024–2025.

Widely regarded as one of the most significant painters of her generation, Mehretu is renowned for her powerful and often monumental works that reference histories of art and architecture and urgent contemporary issues.
