Find creative connections and collaborate with family and friends in a relaxed, fun gallery environment before the Museum opens.

National 2019. The exhibition presents the work of Australian artists living across major cities, regional areas and remote communities.

Join our artist educators and Aspect volunteers for creative activities in the galleries, then head to the creative studios to get hands-on with some art making. Join a structured activity created by our team, or set your own pace and choose your own experience. Find a quiet space, pull up a cushion and kick off your shoes in our immersive Bella Room created by artist Lara Merrett.

This program has been tailored for children on the spectrum and their siblings, family and friends to enjoy together.

Arrive at the MCA via Circular Quay entrance where you will be greeted by an MCA host. Proceed to level 3, register your name at the information desk and get to know our artist educators.

The National 2019 will be open for the autism-friendly viewing.

The creative studios in the National Centre for Creative Learning will be open for an autism-friendly workshop. You are welcome to stay for our Contemporary Kids program afterwards.
