21-25 January 2020: school holidays at MCA

MCA, National Cenrtre for Creatove Learning, level 3

Join us for a special edition of Contemporary Kids in collaboration with Fambo: A Queer Festival for all Kinds of Families.

Presented in association with Sydney Festival, we are celebrating the LGBTQIA+ experience in a welcoming and safe space for all families at the MCA. Come along for a combination of performance, installation, art-making and dress-ups in a series of drop-in workshops led by some of Sydney’s most exciting LGBTIQA+ artists. As part of the program, you will experience our 2019 Jackson Bella Room Commission by artist Liam Benson, hello, good to meet you (2019).

ALL bodies and ALL abilities are welcome, this program is designed for children and their grown-ups to collaborate together. Drop in as many times as you like throughout the week with your family ticket.

Artist educators fluent in Auslan will be present during the program. Full program to be announced.
