Beijing-based architect Dang Qun, principal partner at MAD Architects, delivers this year’s Lloyd Rees Memorial Lecture.

We welcome Dang Qun to the stage to deliver the 2019 Lloyd Rees Memorial Lecture, a discussion on art and architecture.

MAD Architects, of which Dang Qun is a principal partner, is a global architecture firm committed to creating a vision for the city of the future that is based on the spiritual and emotional needs of its residents.

This lecture will be moderated by Professor Paul Gladston, a leading expert on Chinese contemporary art and culture and the inaugural Judith Neilson Chair of Contemporary Art at the University of New South Wales.

The Lloyd Rees Memorial Lecture, now in its 10th year, was created in honour of the late painter who delivered insights about art to generations of architecture students.

Supported by Create NSW and presented in collaboration with Asia Society, UNSW Art & Design and UNSW Built Environment.
