Families will join MCA Artist Educators and Aspect volunteers for creative activities in the galleries, including visits to current MCA exhibition Shaun Gladwell: Pacific Undertow and Project Art Works film, Illuminating the Wilderness (2018).

This is all before heading to the Creative Studios to get hands-on with some art making, including an intimate drawing workshop with Project Art Works in response to the film.

Alternatively, you can choose your own experience and set your own pace. Find a quiet space, pull up a cushion in the National Centre for Creative Learning or relax in MCA's immersive Bella Room, and enjoy the current artwork by artist Liam Benson.

Who can attend?
The program is tailored for children on the autism spectrum and their siblings, family, and friends to enjoy together. The morning is all about finding creative connections to contemporary art in a fun and relaxed gallery environment, all before the Museum opens its doors.
