Level 2 Lecture Theatre

Catch artist Shaun Gladwell and exhibition co-curator Blair French in conversation as they delve into the making of Pacific Undertow.

Internationally lauded Shaun Gladwell began his art career in Sydney in the late 1990s and early 2000s as a member of the celebrated artist collective Imperial Slacks.
Shaun and Blair’s dialogue will stretch back almost 2 decades, spanning critical ideas that have shaped Shaun’s practice over this period.
They will also reflect on his most recent works (a suite of prints and interactive augmented and virtual reality (AR and VR) experiences ) and their relationship to his full oeuvre, which consistently reminds us how visceral and mesmerising video can be.

Your ticket includes a glass of Bimbadgen Art Series wine, available after the talk.
